1. Proof of Negative Coggins must be presented with entry -1 years in-state, 6 months out of state.
2. Any abusive behavior towards any animal will result in dismissal from the show grounds.
3. ASTM-SEI Hard Hats required for all riders under 19 years of age whenever mounted on grounds. Western and Saddle Seat riders will not be penalized for wearing a safety helmet.
4. Shoes or boots with heels must be worn by all riders. Appropriate riding attire will be required.
5. No riding on show grounds bareback, or with halter or lead rope. No riding double. Flat saddles required for jumping classes.
6. The Show/Manager Committee reserves the right to cancel, divide, or combine classes.
7. Six ribbons will be awarded in all Day / Year End Classes.
8. Horses prone to kicking must wear a red ribbon in their tail. Unruly horses will be asked to leave the show grounds
9. Standard USEF Rules & Regulations will be used as a guideline-Show management decisions are final.
10. All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
11. Ponies are 14.2 hands and under.
12. Horses/Riders are entered at own risk. Felton Field Committee, Barre Horse Show Committee, BRDC, NEECA, CNEER, and 4-H Organizations are not responsible for any damage to horse, rider, or other properties at the show.
13. The Trail Course will be set up in a designated area, all competitors must complete the course by 12:00 PM. The courses will be posted the day of at the trail ring.
14. Refunds only when due to bona fide injury to horse or rider.
15. Exhibitors must notify Show Announcer of request to Hold a class
16. All ages are determined as of January 1st.
17. Walk Trot riders may not enter any class calling for a canter.
18. Stallions may be shown only by exhibitors over 21 years old, including in hand classes.
19. Chaps are allowed in all Classes except Equitation.
20. No riding on Soccer or Baseball Fields. You can ride on the dirt road surrounding the grounds.
21. Championship Classes will be judged equally on Equitation, Pleasure, and Suitability of horse / rider combination. Must show in at least one flat class from same division to enter Champion Class.
22. Only one handler is allowed in all In Hand Classes and Lead Line Classes
23. Horses are to walk on the show grounds at all times. Riders and drivers wishing to warm up at the trot should do so in the designated area or on the dirt road behind the baseball field.
