We offer several scholarships each year
The Barre Riding & Driving Club is pleased to have the opportunity to award two types of scholarships
- A scholarship for students to further their education after high school, and
- a scholarship for equestrians to use towards their participation in camps and other approved horse programs.
Scholarship Information
BRDC Scholarship
$600.00 scholarships are available to local students to help them further their education. Barre Riding and Driving Club members and their families are given first consideration. Students can get the scholarship applications at the Quabbin Regional High School Guidance Department or scroll down to download a scholarship application.

Equid-Doc Equi-ship Scholarship

Five $200.00 Equi-ship scholarships are available for children and adults involved with horses.
The proposed “event” must meet the following criteria:
* A camp or clinic for children or adults who are learning about horsemanship.
* Intercollegiate or interscholastic programs such as IEA, IHSA, Pony Club & 4-H are accepted.
* It is not necessary to own your own horse.
* The event must be held in 2025.
* BRDC members get preferred status.

Each applicant is responsible for making sure the program they will be attending has sufficient liability insurance. Equi-ship money may not be used for horse training, riding lessons, equipment, or clothing apparel.
If you are awarded an EquiShip please take a picture of you and your horse and send to office@equiddocvet.com - EquidDoc is our sponsor. They would like to post the pictures of the recipients on their website.
